How Can You Help?
Our care packages will be sent to families with babies currently at the Poudre Valley Hospital. They will contain items to make parents a little more comfortable while they spend their days and nights fighting with their babies – lotions, books, gift cards for meals and coffee, snacks, puzzle books, etc. We are hoping that some local businesses will be willing to help us support as many families as possible.
If you’re a restaurant or coffee shop…
We are asking for gift cards in small denominations so parents can take a little break and feed themselves (something I can assure you they aren’t doing regularly), or get some caffeine (between worrying and pumping precious milk every couple of hours, these parents aren’t sleeping)
If you’re a book store…
We are asking for book, puzzle book, or notebook donations - Something to pass the time as parents sit helplessly by their baby’s side, or something to read to their babies.
If you’re another business…
We are asking for gift card donations to either help purchase supplies to make the boxes, or to directly include in the care package – Or also any items that you think would be a good idea to include.
